Elevated levels of turbidity have caused the Uralla Shire Council to issue a boil water alert for Bundarra. Any water that is to be used for drinking or food preparation should be brought to a rolling boil to make it safe. For more info and tips, read the article here.
The Snowy Valley Council has issued a boil water alert for Batlow, Adelong, Tumbarumba, and Talbinga. Recent bushfires have caused problems with water treatment.
