The Snowy Valley Council has issued a boil water alert for Batlow, Adelong, Tumbarumba, and Talbinga. Recent bushfires have caused problems with water treatment. Residents are urged to boil water until further notice.
Unboiled water could lead to illness, especially for children and the elderly.
